Guide to getting the correct bra size

Simple steps to calculate your bra and cup size

When it comes to buying bras, it is essential to know the different between size and cup. A bra size consists of a letter and a number. While the letter refers to bust/cup measurement, the number refers to the band or torso measurement.

Calculate your bra size in 3 steps.

To calculate your bra size, follow these steps:

Measure your contours

  1. Using a soft tape measure, you must first measure your band size (part B), just below your breasts. This measurement must be a snug fit but not tight.
This measurement defines the number part of your bra size.
  2. To follow, measure your bust size (part A). Keeping the tape around your back at band level, measure at the fullest part of your bust.
This will enable you to calculate the cup size you need in step 3.
Torso - cm Size
Between 63 and 67 cm 80
Between 68 and 72 cm 85
Between 73 and 77 cm 90
Between 78 and 82 cm 95
Between 83 and 87 cm 100
Between 88 and 92 cm 105
Between 93 and 97 cm 110
Between 98 and 102 cm 115
Between 103 and 107 cm 120
  1. When you have both measurements, you can calculate your cup size by following this formula:
Bust size less band size equals cup size.
The result will provide the letter in the cup size you need.
Measurements = Bust - Band Letters
13 cm A
15 cm B
17 cm C
19 cm D
21 cm E
23 cm F

Check your measurements

Check your measurements on this table to find your specific bra size.

For example: your bust measurement is 102cm and your band size is 85 cm (102-85 = 17) your size is 100 C.
